Year 6-7 Transition Primary School

Year 6-7 Transition Primary School -

A Program For Year 6 Students at Primary School Transitioning Into Year 7

The 6 to 7 Program is for students who are in Year 6 and moving to Year 7 the following year.

Developed specifically for students entering the next phase of schooling – Year 7, the program introduces them to the future requirements of secondary school.

During the course, the students will receive an overview of what is required in preparation for starting high school with confidence. After the completion of the program, students will have valuable information, examples and revision work, that can be referred to throughout the early years of high school year.

Students have specialist teachers, in the respective high school subject areas. Each session is run as a small group with no more than five students which allows for discussion and sharing of ideas to take place. Often attendees will meet other students who will be going to the same high school which is an added bonus. The program generally runs in Term 4 of Year 6.
